All of our WHMCS Themes have been updated for full compatibility with the latest versions of WHMCS, 8.10.0-8.10.1.

Control WHMCS Theme Version 2.3.0 Released

Control WHMCS Theme version 2.3.0 was released today on 17 April 2017.

This version introduces a new layout for the view cart page based on customer feedback, as well as numerous other updates and bug fixes.

One of the most common items of feedback highlighted by our customers is that the enter promotion code and estimate tax links on the view cart are not obvious enough causing their customers to struggle to find them. With this in mind we have updated the view cart layout to include the enter promotion code and estimate tax forms within the main page body, above the checkout button, to make the checkout experience more user friendly. We realise, however, that this might not be to everyone’s liking, so the original view cart style is also available as well, you can choose between the two different page styles in the cart-options.tpl file.

The other major update in this version is also focused on the order form templates, and again based on customer feedback. This version intrduces a new option (found in the cart-options.tpl files) which allows you to define the number of products shown per row on the view products and view addons page in both the *_standard and *_compare order form templates.

This version also includes the following minor updates and bug fixes:

  • Update language variable used for client area home page services tile, for improved translation.
  • Improve verify email alert styling.
  • Add ‘Please Wait’ text and loading icon to ‘Complete Order’ button on checkout page on form submit
  • Fix error (inherited from WHMCS standard_cart) which causes all cart pages to focus on first select element (where present) on page load
  • Fix error with product quantity display on all standard and compare order form templates (which caused an extra “1” to be shown)
  • Improvements to same heights JS function on all cart templates, to ensure product panels height resizes correctly on browser/window resize
  • Fixes JS bug which caused inline domain renewal price / cycle not to update on change of registration years on view cart page
  • Improvements to display for WHMCS Project Management addon
  • Improved CSS support for Modules Garden Domains Order Extended addon
  • Add template/CSS support for WBTeamPro project management addon
  • Use Smarty {strip}...{/strip} tags to remove unnecessary white space from theme-options.tpl, theme-functions.tpl, theme-debug.tpl and cart-options.tpl files
  • Update clientareachangepw.tpl file to correct missing closing </div> tag
  • Update clientareaproductdetails.tpl file to remove “www.” in product domain reference
  • Add current theme version number to theme.yaml file

This version is compatible with WHMCS versions 7.1.0 – 7.1.2.
